The next step is that G+ will make available online the audio recordings of your phone conversations from your Android (G+ enabled) phone.

Or something in those lines.. :)

Picasa Web Albums and Google+
http://support.google.com/picasa/answer/1321133
When you sign up for Google+, you can see and share all of your Picasa Web albums in Google+

Google+ and Picasa Web Albums
https://support.google.com/plus/answer/1361680?hl=en&ref_topic=1257351
If you already use Picasa Web Albums, you'll see all of your existing albums on your Google+ photos homepage

But, the privacy settings should not be changed.  Does it still appear that happened (at least in some situations?)

Or, is it just that an automated post was created when someone was recently tagged in the photo?

However, I was not aware that content published through PWA would automatically be included in your Google+ Photos.  But, as they more closely integrate Google+ with everything else Google, it's difficult to keep up with the changes, especially relating to products I'm not that familiar with.

Perhaps you will want to consider +mentioning the [Google+ Help] page to see if you can get some clarification about the issues?

Or check with the regulars in the Picasa Help Forum to see what their observations have been?

It is your fault Richard :) I would not have looked if you would not have told us about it, but they are really wonderful photos and such a special happy atmosphere :)

Absolutely fantastic :) Sorry, I could not resist looking at them, they were wonderful. If you would not have written about it, I would have been convinced they were meant to be public, they were great photos and really nothing to worry about, other than, well, you did not want them public. I cannot see them now, I assume you un-public-ed them? I hope you do not mind that I looked, but in this cold cloudy snowy day it was great to see the happy photos :)

I keep my private life very separate from my life here on G+ and for various reasons I prefer to keep it that way :)

I'm sure there are some settings hidden away, but there should be some bloody big pop-up requesting permission before this happens. by-the-by it all occurred after Picasa updated to latest version.  No notifications of any description.  Honestly terrible.

I suppose there is an explanation somewhere of why or how it happened, like a combination of settings in Picasa and GooglePlus(?)
Are you sure they were publicly visible?

This is just crazy. Google+ Picasa integration blows donkeys.

It looks like it published any image where I was tagged by the facial recognition in Picasa.

Regardless it was an epic fail.

Is there much difference to having them stored privately on a page labeled "Google+" compared to one saying "Picasa"?
