But I must say that in the last 2 months I’ve not seen one. I guess coworkers are searching less or there s some algorithm on google to recognise this situations.

I’d be willing to bet that it’s a firefox extension you have installed (I know the screenshot is Chrome).

I know the SEOtoolbar causes it when cache date, DMOZ (G dir) and PR is turned on. IF you have your results set to > 20 it happens.

Google have also been increasing the timeout. I’ve had to wait a few hours to get my IP white again.

SEOquake causes it too.

You’re right though, the message is slightly different.
