And the other issue has been the quality of many of the nominated sites - previously there was no consideration given to web standards of any description. As it turns out I am building a website for a different Irish awards ceremony at present (not to do with web design). They wouldn't dream of having nominates pay! Still though, it's nice to see the usual bedfellows in there being shortlisted. I feel sorry for any of the genuine entrants who forked out money to submit their sites to this utter farce.
