Of course Ireland being Ireland we'll be ripped off for countless years to come while the rest of the world happily eats through mobile bandwidth for next to nothing. I'm keeping an eye on wifi/wimax to enter the space also. And of course, I still have my sneaky suspicion that the search engines may one day become direct competitors to the operators. Just a hunch, and I'm sure I'll be completely wrong.... My phone can do all kinds of things that I would use it for, except that I'll be billed a zillion euros for the privilege. I believe flat rate 3G is on the way, but they'd want to get a move on!
