I'm keeping an eye on wifi/wimax to enter the space also.And of course, I still have my sneaky suspicion that the search engines may one day become direct competitors to the operators. Just a hunch, and I'm sure I'll be completely wrong.... My phone can do all kinds of things that I would use it for, except that I'll be billed a zillion euros for the privilege.I believe flat rate 3G is on the way, but they'd want to get a move on!
