I think Amazon are really pushing their luck with the cookie-cutter placeholder pages for unreleased products. I searched for [archos tv connect] and see this page at #4.

You can see that it's not even in the correct product category under Amazon's site:

www.amazon.com › … › Car Electronics › Car Audio › Satellite Radio‎

That's a really shitty user experience, and Google needs to sort out domains pushing so much authority that they can rank for anything with junk content.

  2. I'm listening to it now believe it or not.  There were some great questions and good discussion.

I'm sorry I missed it to offer an alternative view of being a TC on webmaster support group.  Shame also that Auto had dropped off at that point as he would have said that he was actually removed from the group for losing his cool repeatedly.  There are inherent reasons why TCs can come across as rude at times, the chief one being that they get the same questions over and over.  That's not a fault of the posters, but really an indictment of how Google provides information.  Search was broken there for yonks, and still to this day is poor (which must be embarrassing for Google you'd think).

Some nice discussion on international sites, which is also an area I've had a bit of experience with.

I'm in Dublin for a few weeks and hopefully can join next week.

  3. Glad to hear you're among your family, mate. I think I'll look in the cupboard for a bottle of Jamiesons. See you on Thursday if you can get there. :)
