Dave Davis has released his first Firefox extension: Google Global.
It’s s a handy little tool that lets you filter Google queries for relevant counties. Why would you want to do this? Well, if you need to see search results as they appear in a particular country or want to see what countries PPC ads are targeting.
Great tool, and great to see some Irish tools coming onto the horizon.
Well done Dave.
Thanks for the mention Richard and thanks for the help testing.

Richard – I think you’ve a typo there – does it really let you filter by county??

I wasn’t your number #1 beta tester, that’s for sure
Nice plugin, and seen as I have time to comment here…

Nah, but you still put in the effort! And you have done more than enough. Thanks mate.

Yes – I used my considerable influence with Google to have them make changes to their filtering so that county by county searches would be available. I decided that this feature should not be shared with other Google properties (I’m a meany).
And did I mention that it only works for me? (I’m really a meany). Yep, I told them that if they shared it with anyone else I wouldn’t talk to them any more.
OK. It was a typo. I don’t know anyone in Google, and besides, if I did it wouldn’t make any difference as they all hate me
